Welcome to the June issue of The Word on the Street. This is your monthly news and information from Spain provided by Ábaco Advisers. We hope to keep you in touch with the news, events and just a little bit of gossip. 

This month our newsletter is a little preocuppied with the theme of Brexit. Apologies to those of you with different nationalities, particularly if you come from outside the EU.

June 26th was a momentous day in Spain. Or at least it should have been as the electorate had their second attempt at electing a new government. The outcome was favourable towards Mariano Rajoy and the PP but they still do not have a majority. This article from Spanish News Today gives a reasonable overview of the situation:
