Visiting the Murcia Today website is a great way of finding out about what’s going on in the Murcian region. They are very good at keeping you informed about the tours that are available. In this case there’s one on 7th July and that takes you on a trip round the bodegas in the town of Bullas.

The tour is in Spanish but, they point out, that even if your Spanish is limited there is lots for you to see if you are interested in the wine-making industry:

New notes issued

It’s not just about Murcia. Murcia Today also publishes a useful guide to what’s happening in Spain. A good idea that started in Stratford

A good reason for travelling can be that visiting other places triggers ways of improving your own. One example is described in this interesting article published in the Guardian. It describes how Enrique Bocanegra was inspired by a visit to Stratford to transform a famous painter’s home in Seville.

Velázquez’s childhood home was lying abandoned and by hook or by crook, Enrique was determined to do something about it:

Five difficult questions
