The energy performance certificate

What is the Spanish Land Registry?
The ‘Registro de la Propiedad’ is an official record of who owns what in Spain. It is also useful for checking whether there are any charges held against a property or if it has a mortgage against it. Ábaco Club at Large
Ábaco Club members have been out and about again. This time we visited Bodegas Volver based in Pinoso, to enjoy a little wine tasting. This is always a favourite activity for club members and with the nights drawing in, November was the perfect time to try a few of the amazing wines they have to offer. Sara and Irene really did us proud and we not only had opportunity to taste the wines but also to find out more about the wine making process. Living in Guadalest
Guadalest is an incredibly picturesque ancient village in Alicante. It has only a small resident population with most of its revenue coming from tourism. It has spectacular views and several places of interest to visit. What’s the latest with golden visas?
Information about how long these will remain with us, keeps changing. In this article, Spanish News Today suggests that the potential end date is January 2025. Many people have frowned upon the visa due to it being unashamedly designed to attract the most wealthy, removing barriers for them that exist for most other people. However, others suggest that it brings money into the country and its removal will make little difference to the housing situation here:

This article from Euronews identifies the European countries most and least prepared for a cashless society. Spain must be somewhere in between the two groups as it isn’t mentioned. However, the article makes for interesting reading and, surprisingly, Germany is down as being one of those that is least prepared:
